• Certified Wilson® Dyslexia Practitioner (W.D.P.)

• Master’s Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (Grades K-12 and Adults).

• Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising and Spanish.

Professional Experience:

• 4 years as a classroom teacher in the New York City Department of Education

• Former Practice Manager and Executive Assistant at a NYC based Pediatric Sensory Gym (Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and Counseling Services provided).

As a WRS Level I Certified Wilson® Dyslexia Practitioner (W.D.P.), I have a specific skill set, through an intensive practicum program, to teach the WRS that will maximize your child’s success in the program. If you are looking to implement the WRS with fidelity for optimal results, a certified instructor is a necessary supplement to your child’s classroom teacher.

If the WRS is not appropriate for your scholar, we can modify the program, or work outside of it, to ensure progress.

I create lessons specific to student level, individualized goals, and interests outside the classroom. Your children have strengths that deserve to show up in their learning space to make instruction meaningful.

In addition to reading and writing tutoring, I also tutor in executive functioning, homework help, and other elementary education subjects.

When not teaching or tutoring, I love spending time with my friends and family, caring for my new baby girl, Willow, cooking with my husband, and exploring New York City.
